Searching relevant materials

Materials are regarded to be relevant when particular items in the material information are identical.

If you are viewing the material details, you may search relevant materials, such as books of the same author or journals edited by the same organization.

Supplement

  • Relevant material search is available only when they are held in the library (you usually use).

Target items for relevant materials

Materials are regarded to be relevant if the items outlined below are identical.

  • Author (Author for books and organization for journals)
Materials written by the same author or journals edited by the same organization
  • Subject
    Materials with the same subject
  • Uniform title
Books with the same information for the uniform title
  • Series title
    Books of the same series
  • Old/new journal title
Journals of the same old or new titles changed

Supplement

  • Materials are regarded to be relevant only if the material type is the same. For example, if you are viewing the details of a book, journals and other types of materials are not regarded as relevant ones even though the subject contains the same information.

How to reference relevant materials

In the material detail page, relevant material pages are opened from the Material detail or Search relevant material sections.

If there are relevant materials for the material you are viewing currently, you can tap or click target items. The materials containing the same information in the same items can be referenced.
